Docs on the doorstep!

IMG_462222

Following the release of the new WI-FI printers such as the Epson Workforce WF-100W, we are excited to announce you can now print contract documents wirelessly without an internet connection from our lease finance pricing App. The printer is ideal for life on the road with a built in battery, this offers a truly mobile use be it out at a farm with a customer or back in the office at your desk.

Today, mobile printing typically involves a visit out to the printer sitting in your car boot, powering up your PC and then returning back to the customer with the printed doc. By contrast, wireless printing saves time and presents a truly professional image whilst still with customer.

Our pricing App allows a dealer to remotely generate a finance quotation with a customer, combine this with the new Epson printer and you can produce a contract document ready for a signature in minutes anywhere.

Sprint Updates to support FCA Compliance

As the FCA takes over regulation of Consumer Credit they promise to improve accountability and transparency in the lending industry. Whilst it’s still not totally clear what the impact will be, MP is proposing some enhancements to Sprint which may be of benefit to your ability to demonstrate compliance. These areas are:

Summary screen and customer quote letter

Deals which fall within the bounds of a regulated contract may be highlighted as such in the Summary Screen, the Customer Quote letter and the Actions tab (App and Web). For a regulated agreement, this might generate an instruction to the dealer such as “Please read the statement about regulated contracts to your customer and please tick the box below to indicate that you have done so”.
The proposal may be prevented from proceeding if the box is not ticked. When the box is ticked, a record may be held with the proposal and a note added to the customer email or proposal.

Sales audit reports

A new Sprint report will focus on proposals which have been identified as regulated and provide a record of actions taken on those proposals. This should provide a very useful tool to demonstration compliance.

Next steps

Customers wishing to benefit from the above mentioned Sprint enhancements should contact Mobile Productivity to arrange for their Sprint system to be configured with the amendments required. Typically there is a charge associated with this work based on the time involved. Enquiries can be sent to hugh.mahony@mobileproductivity.com
